Guitar Sabbatical
Well, I just finished a 30 day Sabbatical where i didn't touch the guitar or work on any music. the purpose was to seek God. not just about music but about everything. it was about my walk with Him. i spent some of the time when i normally practice (9PM to 12am) journaling my life, looking at major events and people that shaped my life. I won't go everything right here right now cause i don't want to do a real long post but here are the books i read during that time: Listening Prayer by Leanne Payne, The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence, Descent into Hell by Charles Williams, Perelandra by C.S. Lewis, The Healing Presence by Leanne Payne, The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer, Addicted to Mediocrity by Franky Schaeffer, Heart of the Artist by Rory Nolan, Wild at Heart by John Eldredge, A Resilient Life by Gordon MacDonald (that's where i got the idea for the sabbatical), Wounded Heart and Bold Love by Dan Allender. i think that's it.
